We are honored to have a few moments to personally welcome you to the Bethel United African Church website. On behalf of the clergy, and the entire church family, we want you to know that we are dedicated to meeting the needs of people wherever they are in life. Therefore, the simple purpose of our site is to introduce you to those areas of our ministry which are relevant to your life at this time.
We are a community of faith that believes that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He lives. This living Christ can meet us exactly where we are and change our whole perspective regarding life.
We work to be a church without walls; a congregation engaged in our community for the cause of Jesus. It is our intent to be a place that welcomes all people and enables each one to find the path of faith. God has an adventure waiting for every person. This includes you. We all have an unexplored journey, just waiting for us to take the first step.
Maybe you are new to the Christian father or perhaps you have been following God as long as you can remember. More than likely, you find yourself somewhere in between. That’s OK. Because wherever you are on your spiritual quest. Bethel United African Church is ready to help you discover new territories in your faith journey. We want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We’re eager to know you and we’re excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working. It won’t take you long to discover that Bethel United African Church.is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. Don’t be fool by the name, we embrace every race, creed and age. Growing spiritually together, we worship, we do service projects, we learn and we reach out to the world with life-threatening truth. Our doors are open, our hearts are open to you, no matter who you are. If you’ve been thinking, praying, searching and hoping for a place to belong, Bethel United Africa is the place for you. If you come to us as a visitor, we hope that you’ll leave as a friend who’s been blessed by worshiping with us.
When you come to Bethel United African Church, you’ll find a place you can feel at home, a place you feel warmly welcomed, a place to be yourself and relax, a place you can begin to enjoy all that God has for you. Come to explore the Bible and what Christianity is really all about, bring your children to a place they can enjoy, Ask tough questions about life and faith, and Make personal strides in your spiritual growth.
You will find a variety of ministries here at Bethel United African Church, all developed to aid you in your quest for spiritual growth and wholeness. We have classes and activities for every age group from the youngest baby to the “young in heart”.
The place to start is our Sunday morning celebration: great praise and worship time, media presentations, and humor…… friendly people talking, laughing… your children being welcomed by caring leaders in the children’s ministry… not having to worry about being singled out as a visitor or being pressure to give money… wearing clothes you’d wear to a friend’s house. Messages from the Bible that are tied into everyday life… a place to be yourself and discover all that God has for you.
This journey of faith is not meant to be made alone. For that reason, we hope you will not only check out our website, but make your way to one of your mid-week and weekend services. In doing so, you will soon discover that the best part of Bethel United African Church is its people.
